Isn't he so cute! I just love him! He turned 24 today!!

And yet another garage sale victory!

It was pouring outside this morning when i woke up! Imagine how heartbroken I was. I look forward to garage sales all week!!! Well, i decided to go anyways, to see if anyone was still doing it. Most of the houses weren't, but there were a few that were!


To start my story...yesterday I went to Pottery Barn and bought this bobby pillow slipcover with a giftcard I had. i didn't have enough money to buy the $30 bobby pillow to go with it, but I really wanted one, so I decided to wait to see if I could find one cheaper!

Well, I went to Sweet Pea Boutique and they were selling one for $7.99! So i hurry and snatched it up! Here it is, with some cute clothes I got at garage sales!

Now look how cute it is?


So...back to garage sales...I got this cute little camping chair for camper! It's a lot cuter in person!























I really REALLY wanted a mirror for the car, so I was SOOOO excited to find one! It even has a remote so I can play music for the little guy! I got a carseat cover, and some 'blanket' sleepers!

Grandpa Larry!

Jeremy and I went to visit Grandpa Larry Brown yesterday and spend some time with him! He has cancer, that has spread throughout his whole body. He is not doing so well, but still just as funny as ever! It was fun to see him! He was making jokes the whole time, except he would fall asleep about every five minutes, and then wake up 10-25 seconds later. Sometimes he would start talking in Spanish, and luckily Jeremy could translate.

He fell down a couple of days ago and really scraped up his arm, that is why it is bandaged-up!

I ordered a Serta crib mattress from Target with the giftcard that my sisters and mommy gave me! Thank you so much! I was so excited because it came a week early! Then I got to decorate it with my cute crib sheet and blankets!

Hurry and come baby! We are ready for you now!!!

DOPPLER!!

So...a lady in our ward is awesome and brought home a doppler test for us to use! Now YOU can hear the baby's heartbeat! Jeremy had fun playing doctor. Sorry that you get to see my beautiful belly with stretch marks and all, I tried not to include it in the video! ENJOY!

34 weeks continued

WOW!! You can really tell how much I've changed since 27 1/2 weeksSo I decided to take pictures in the same shirt, so it's easier to tell my progress. Here is the same shirt from 27 1/2 weeks!

34 weeks!

Wow, it's getting so close! I'm SOOOOOO excited! I haven't really gained any weight for a few months! (maybe a pound) If you look back at my 27 1/2 weeks, I don't think I look that much bigger! haha I got big really early in my pregnancy!
I'm feeling great though! My Braxton Hicks are getting stronger, and it's a little more difficult to breathe, but everything seems to be going well!

Jer and I went camping at Strawberry Reservoir this weekend. It was a lot of fun, except pretty cold! I didn't think I would get cold, seeing how I've been SOOOO hot this summer, so I didn't really prepare and pack warm clothes. Oh well, it was still a lot of fun! We took the boat out Saturday morning (early), came back in around 2:00pm and never made it back out on the boat because it was too windy. Instead we went crawdad hunting! We caught 14, but two escaped from the trap, so we took 12 back with us and cooked them up!

There is Jeremy with a crawdad! They were so fun to catch. We really only caught 2 or 3 with the trap! The rest of them we stuck a piece of a hotdog on a hook with fishing line and we'd throw it out there in front of the crawdad. They would grab it, and then you pull them in because they wouldn't let go. It was so much fun!

Grocery Smarts!

The total I spent on all of this was about $22. not bad huh? I was printing off coupons all day yesterday and then took them to Albertson's awesome sale! Jeremy laughs at me and thinks I wasted $22, (which is probably right, but don't tell him) because how much of this stuff would I have bought if it wasn't such a good deal! I love all this stuff, but it's pretty darn unhealthy! I did need mayo, and I use All small and mighty laundry detergent, but the rest of it is pretty much junk! (OH BUT IT WILL TASTE SO GOOD!) Thank you Grocery Smarts!

P.S. my rootbeer float I'm eating right now tastes so good!

I HATE SPIDERS!!!

Wow, I am so ready to move out of this basement apartment! Big, huge spiders! I told Jeremy that I wish that spiders would chirp so that we knew where they were, but they we both decided that it would freak us out! During my nightly routine of using the bathroom 2-3 times, almost every single time lately there has been a GIANT monster waiting in the hallway for me. I AM OFFICIALLY PARANOID NOW! I woke Jeremy up twice two nights ago to come kill these monsters. (I'm sure he really appreciated that!) Well, we put a spider trap in the hall, and last night there was a huge hobo on it! YUCK!!! Then this morning there was a monster in our room! I made Jeremy late for work as he moved our dresser out to kill it! WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT JEREMY!?!?! We have three sizes of spiders in our apartment. The baby ones, on the ceiling above our bed, the medium ones, mainly in our bathroom, and the GIANT ones that stalk me and try to eat me. I can now kill the medium and baby ones, but those huge ones! AHHHHHHH!!!

The worst part is that I'll make it into the bathroom, because the hallway is dark, and then I'll be sitting there and I look out in the hallway, and there is a giant! RIGHT WHERE I HAD BEEN WALKING!!!! It disgusts me! And then I spend 10 minutes trying to find it, because they ALWAYS walk away right when I get out there to kill them. Then I can't sleep for literally 1-2 hours because I'm so scared!

I know you think I'm exaggerating, but this is real! It has happened to me countless times these last couple of weeks. I'm so sick of it that I try not to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but that doesn't work because I just get really uncomfortable and I can't sleep.

well, thanks for listening to me complain! Believe it or not, I'm getting excited for winter (you'll never hear me say that for any other reason), when they all die!

Another Garage Sale Success!!

Wow! I LOVE garage sale shopping. This might not be all that exciting for you! But it is for me! I love getting cheap stuff! I was planning on buying a Diaper Champ (especially living in an apartment where the dumpster is in the back) and they cost about $35 at target, but I just got one for $2!!! The lady also gave me a free BabyBjorn carrier (normally $75!). I don't know if she knew what she was giving away! haha

I also got a game that looks fun (for $1) and a book to show me how to make a slip cover for my couch. (i bought material last year, but I didn't know how to do it, so it's been on hold)


Look how adorable that little construction outfit is! It is the only thing I've bought at 0-3 months (because I have too much already) but I fell in love with it!
