Over a month ago I participated in the Race for the Cure. It was a lot of fun. This was my second year supporting this race, and I hope to be able to do it every year. Last year I ran it with Lena, and this year I walked it with Momma Brown, Allie, Jessie, Brett, and Cousin Brittney. We loved admiring everyone's shirts! Next year we want to make shirts that say "Save Second Base!" I was about 5 months pregnant, so next year I'll be able to take a little boy with me! We are going to try to get Daddy Brown and Jeremy to do it with us next year.

Question for Jena!!

or anyone else that wants to answer...I've been working at a volleyball camp this week and i overheard some coaches talking about the correct technique to passing. They said that you should not pass with your fingers out, like in this first picture, but they should be tucked in like this second picture.

Now...i was taught to pass with my hands in this first picture position. Have THEY (whoever THEY are) changed the way you should pass? Am I all of the sudden outdated?) HELP!!!!

Grandma Rufie (Jeremy's mom, Ruth) and Uncle Jessie and Uncle Allie (Jere's sisters) went to Jackson Hole for girl's camp and brought back this cute little onsie for Camper (Camper is our nickname for Baby Dean Brown). Isn't it adorable! I can't wait to see him wearing it! I was just telling my sister Cari how cute Colby looked in his little red onesie, and now Camper will have one too!

*Jessie and Allie earned the title "Uncle" when we broke the news to them that Camper was a boy! We told them they were going to be Uncles!!

I went to Spokane to see my nephew's baby blessing. Him and baby Dean Brown will only be 5 months apart. I stole these pictures from my sister's blog. He is such an adorable little guy. I got him to smile at me for about 10 minutes! It was so fun to be in Spokane with my family (except I missed my husband a lot!) and I can't wait to see them all again over July 4th!

okay, i'm not really. I saw this commercial while in Moab and it actually made me laugh so hard that I had to post it. Who are these people!?! They actually think they are vampires!! And how does that guy know that sunlight turns him to ashes?? Is he missing a hand that he stuck out in the sun as a child? THIS IS INSANE! I hope they don't track me down...

The first part is sideways, so you're going to have to turn your head to watch it, but then it straightens back out. You can't actually see where the ball went, but it was indeed a grandslam.

Anniversary Gifts!!!

I love presents! For Father's Day/One Year Anniversary, Jeremy got a Rapala's Wii fishing game, fishing sunglasses, and books from the baby. The books were "Go Dog, Go," "Mr. Brown can moo, can you?" and "Hop on Pop."




Jeremy got me this candle multiplier for our One Year Anniversary! It is really beautiful. When you light the candle, there is a mirror behind the temple and you can see the reflection of the light forever and ever! Just like the mirrors in the temple. The candle also makes the temple look like it is glowing. It is beautiful!!

WE MADE IT A YEAR!!!

Wow, times flies when you're having fun! It's already been a year!! It has definitely been the best year of our lives so far! I can't wait for another year!!

Okay, so it's not a swimsuit...but don't tell Jeremy that! haha. I went looking for a swimsuit, and they didn't have any I liked, but I couldn't go home empty handed, so I bought this cute shirt! I would put a picture of me wearing it, but I am in Spokane right now, and I didn't bring anything to hook my camera up to the computer.
