Jeremy's B-day cake!!

I had the candles I bought him last year, so I just put 22+1 because he is 23 years old now! This was actually our wedding cake! Chocolate with fudge! It was SOOOOOO good!! SERIOUSLY!!!!! Jon and Marci came over and got to try some too! oh yeah, and Kinley!!! She loved it! I also made homemade ice cream, the best! Happy Birthday Jeremy!! (August 21st)

Backpacking!!!

Well, Jeremy and I went backpacking with our cousins, Ashley and Donnie, and we were CLEARLY not prepared! We had never been before and didn't have the proper equipment. We also brought way more than was necessary! My bag weighed 30 lbs and his weighed almost 50 lbs! We had a lot of fun though and we want to go again, after we've invested in some backpacking equipment. We went up into the Uintas. It was so beautiful, but that is blackbear country, so naturally I was a little on edge the whole time. Luckily Donnie brought a gun, and Jeremy had his nice pocket-knife. I felt a little more at ease.
