I'm babysitting Marci's kids for the week and what do I do when all the kids are asleep??? Surf the internet!!! I came across this laundry idea that people seem to be loving. Right now, I don't know if it would really work miracles for me because I only have one child, but I think that anyone with a few more kids might find it useful. I've help a few of my sisters sort laundry and I think it might be useful for them, tell me what you think, it's definitely not rocket scientist...

Well, I haven't posted for along time, and unfortunately this isn't happy news. Right after Austin was born (1 1/2) years ago, I fell and hurt my back. Well, it' s been bothering me a lot and so I went to a chiropractor today. He x-rayed it and suspected that i may have actually fractured my back when i fell!!! ouch. As a result of that fracture, I now have what is called spondylolisthesis and scoliosis.

And, I am currently at a grade 3!!! I will be doing a lot of treatment, exercises, and deep tissue massage to try and make improvements in my back, but it will most likely never fully recover. I may have to get it fused someday, but let's hope not. Well, that is my exciting news for the day. I'll try and post something exciting next time, oh wait, here's something exciting. Jeremy and I bought land behind our property to make our back yard enormous!! We planted onions yesterday out on the property, well, he did, while I chased Austin around (who is afraid of worms). It is so much fun to have all that space. Next project, putting a fence around the entire property (one that isn't falling over and barbwire). Well, i'm going to bed now. Goodbye!!

I'm finally blogging about my Halloween party! Sorry it took me so long Marci!! We had our first Annual Halloween party this year! I was a little disappointed in the lack of warm bodies at the party! (mainly because I was so thirsty). I e-mailed everyone in my ward and a lot of people didn't see the e-mail until it was too late, so next year, I'm going to post something on everyone's door to get the word out, and talk about it for a couple of weeks in advance! I cooked all week long! 2-3 different goodies each night! It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work. Next year I'm not going to make so many sugary things, I'll make meatballs and little sausages! Here are some pics of the yummy goodies I made.

I am the ward SHREK specialist!!!
Jeremy thought the Bishop said TREK specialist. But I'm pretty sure he said SHREK specialist. I'm so excited. This calling only comes to our ward once every four years. Hopefully I'll actually get to go on Trek! I honestly don't think I've ever been so excited for a calling. We will start planning monthly activities for the young men/women from October up until the week of Trek, July 12th. If you have ever been on Trek and have any ideas/fun activities then let me know! I could use all the help I could get. I'll keep you posted!!

Yahoo!!!!!! Alero has returned!!!!! The police found her this morning around 3:30. She had been abandoned near a field a couple of miles away from our house. I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was when I opened the car doors and everything was gone! THE NERVE OF SOME PEOPLE!!! HONESTLY...I JUST DON'T KNOW (that's for you Marci) WHAT IS WRONG WITH SOME PEOPLE!!! Our new carseat (walmart $70ish dollars) and our other car seat base ($40) were both gone, along with my ipod, Jeremy's National Champion medal, baby pictures of Jer, all of my CD's (that I hardly listen to anyways), diaper bag, and the ADORABLE toys Jena just gave Austin (drum and cash register). We opened the trunk and couldn't believe that everything was still in there (dumb thieves, didn't even look in the trunk). Jeremy's bat bag, wedding ring, and golf clubs were in there along with Austin's stroller.

IF YOU ARE READING THIS THIEF...We took it all out now, so don't even bother coming back for more.

Also...if you are reading this thief, that means you are most likely my friend, and that is WRONG!!!

Well, we are pretty sure that there was a spare key in Alero, which creeps me out because that means the thief still has access to our car. We are going to have to get the locks changed, but that is probably a ridiculous price. (Insurance will not cover that).

Oh yeah, when Jeremy tried to drive away, there was NO power steering. Luckily we had some power steering fluid in the trunk so we filled it up and the car drove better, but it is leaking! Insurance should cover that though, since the car was fine before it was stolen. The only thing inside the car the insurance will cover is car seats, with a $100 deductible, which is about how much the car seats cost. So pretty much, WE GOT JIPPED AND ROBBED AND yeah, thanks for listening.

Our next week of vacation was spent in Idaho Falls. I don't know if it was much of a vacation for Jeremy because he spent most of his time working. Look what he did...He had three days to finish this and he worked in the dark each night to get it done on time. HE'S AWESOME!!

Jeremy and I took a two week vacation! We went to Oregon for the first week for the National fastpitch softball tournament. It was awesome! Jeremy's team won the "B" league. Last year they won it in the "C" league. We will see what happens next year, maybe the "A" league!

Ryan came to most of the games and helped out with Austin a TON! I was nervous about going to a tournament by myself with such a wiggle worm, but Ryan took Austin on walks and played with him so that Austin was entertained and I could watch the games. Here the umpire was asking Ryan if the bat was legal! haha. Ryan loved being a part of the team and wished he could have played out there with Jeremy. Ryan also got to drive his favorite car, a "Dodger" (Dodge Charger).

Values Bike Ride

The Young Women in my ward were doing a Values Bike Ride and they got to come to my house for the value Good Works. (What a cute idea huh?) I just talked for a few minutes on the value Good Works and then we ate bananas (because Good Works is the color yellow) dipped in chocolate. Austin and I both wore yellow and I made this little sign with scriptures dealing with Good Works. Ignore my paint job. The crown molding is soon to come.

Austin loved the fireworks last night. Air supply was playing down the street from us, so we walked over to see what was going on and then stayed and watched the fireworks after. I was very impressed with the fireworks! A lot better than I was expecting, (but then again, how can you not be impressed by huge bombs exploding colorfully in the air!) Austin got a little scared at first and climbed up on daddy's shoulder, but then the rest of the time he just stared at them, with no expression. I think he was in awe. These are pictures from the parade this morning. There will be more fireworks tonight, so I'm excited to see them.

Yahoo!! We got into our new house. It only took about 2 1/2 hours on Saturday, but we got all moved in! I LOVE OUR NEW HOME!!! So much more space! We are almost completely unpacked. Jeremy's mom helped a ton with the unpacking and Jeremy has been awesome in getting our sprinkler system all fixed! Jeremy spent the day yesterday fixing all of the broken sprinkler heads. Wow...Sprinkler systems are so nice. We don't have internet yet, they are coming tomorrow though, so then I'll be able to post some pictures. Stay tuned!!!!

It is a wonderful house with four bedrooms (very similar to mom and dad’s house, only it has three levels, instead of four). We are so excited, we even went and planted a small garden in the backyard yesterday. (the current owner suggested it). We planted onions (one of our favorite vegetables), spinach, and carrots. Wish us luck. We had no idea what we were doing. Any advice would be appreciated! Well, I hope you like our new soon-to-be home! You’re all invited over!!

This was my birthday cake! Jeremy got creative with the candles. They were really from his 22nd birthday, and he cut off one of the 2's to look like a 6. Pretty good job huh? Jeremy got a picture of the house put on the cake too! I love it. (The house doesn't really look like that though!)

The big present sitting behind Austin is a Panini press from Jer's mom! I LOVE IT! She knows how much I love panini sandwiches! We ate one yesterday for lunch. We've used it three times so far, but I think I'm going to go make another one right now! Gotta go...

Austin has been coughing and sneezing alot, with a runny nose, and a little bit of a wheezy breath, so we took him into the doctor again. They tested him for RSV and he didn't have it, but he did have another ear ache. He is back on the nebulizer for a few days! WHAT A CUTIE!!

this picture is of me sleeping with my legs crossed when i was just a baby (almost two months old)

Yesterday, while watching the superbowl at the York's house, mommy looked over at me and I was just lying under my jungle gym on my back. A few minutes later, she looked back at me and I was completely on my stomach! No one saw me do it, but i did it!! Actually, the superbowl was already over and daddy was playing supermario bros, with the York kids. We love hanging out with them!!!!!

Then today, I finally found my hands. I kept on starring at them and turning them slowly, because I was examining them, and then shoving them in my mouth. I don't get what is so funny, but mommy and daddy just kept laughing at me. I'm also getting good at shaking my head back and forth really fast, just practicing saying "NO!"

I'm officially a student again!!! Thanks to the Regional Campus out here in Tooele. I'm getting my Health Endorsement so I can teach Health next year. I'm just taking three credits right now, and four more in the summer! I LOVE LEARNING!!!

Austin is NEBULIZING!!!

Austin went to the doctor yesterday for his really bad cough. Turns out he has Infulenza Type A, beginnings of an ear infection, and eczema!! POOR KID!! He is on amoxicillin for the ear infection, the nebulizer for the lung congestion, and cetaphil for the eczema (which really seems to be helping a lot already)! We are also giving him pedialyte to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated. He is still as happy as ever though! WHAT A TROOPER!!!
I kept calling it a fibulizer in the video! I kept getting it confused with a defibrillator. Isn't that the thing that shocks you to bring back your pulse? I'm glad we don't have to do that!!! Sorry I sound like such an idiot in the video. I hope you can get past that!! ha ha

Look how cute my neices are! My grandma made those sweaters/hats that Aspen and Mckinley are wearing. Jeremy needs a pink sweater now, or robe like Shantae's!!

On New Year's the adult girl cousins had a sleepover at Grandma Whiting's house. Jeremy and Jessie brought Austin over after he got hungry. He got to sleepover, which ended up being a mistake because he peed all over Grandma's couch. Here is grandpa holding him. I LOVE HIS HAT!!

These pictures were taken today. He was playing in his swing forever and then we put him in this walker. He likes being in there, but only of about 10 mins.

Austin made this video for his Grandma and Grandpa Brown because he misses them so much. This is the longest he's ever been away from them! Even though it is late and he is hungry, he still managed to smile a couple of times!

"Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after two days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories.
But two things made me take it down.

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.
Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize that it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of the many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard."

Really, you should be asking, WHERE HAS MY CAMERA CONNECTOR THINGY GONE!?!?! I can't find it, and I know you can just put your camera memory chip thingy (i'm technology illiterate) in the computer, but I haven't tried it yet. So, that's my excuse for not blogging the last few weeks. This picture was sent to me on an e-mail. It was taken at church for a special program titled, "Angels Among Us." The program was dedicated to the older women in our church! It was awesome!! I consider Austin an angel too!

My sister ended up losing her baby. I think she found out yesterday. She went in for her usual check-up and they couldn't find the heart beat. At my first doctor appointment with Austin they couldn't find the heartbeat at first and it made my heart sink. I felt sick to my stomach. I can't imagine what Marci has been through. She is such a strong woman! She was induced and was in labor all night and into the morning. The doctors thought it was a girl. It's so hard to undertand the trials that we go through when we are going through them. I pray that she will understand why this is happening. I love her so much!

Well, yesterday was my first day back to school. So I might not be posting everyday like I have been. Life just got too busy! It wasn't as hard to leave Austin as I thought it would be (everyone told me I was going to cry). But it defintely was a hard day! My students were all wild! One student stole a rotary cutter (what's that? it's like a pizza cutter, but WAY sharper, for cutting fabric) and another student, or maybe the same student, stole the magnet out of my pin holder (so now it's worthless). Today was much better because I put the students in a seating chart and was more organized. Both days at school I've been watching videos of Austin all day on my phone! It makes me smile. And I get so excited to go home and see him. Our neighbor, Marie Gale, is babysitting him. She has a six month old, Macguire, there is a picture of him in an earlier post. I'm so grateful for her, and she does a wonderful job! I'm going to go research right now about starting a preschool because I'm planning on starting one next year. Let me know if you know anything about starting a preschool. I would love all the advice I can get! Well, here are some cute pictures of our growing little boy. Enjoy!!

He wore the same blessing outfit that Daddy wore. Looking through the pictures I realized we didn't get a good picture of it, so I'm going to have to dress him up and take another picture of the outfit!

We were trying to get a picture with Austin and his Halloween pumpkin pacifier, and he kept spitting it out. Jessie would put it in his mouth and out it would pop! We finally got one though (but it's already starting to come out, as you can see)

Wow! Austin is a ladies man! Here he is with two girls in our ward! Rachel and Kiara (may have spelt that wrong) (Kee-are-a) He is bigger than both of them (they are both under 12 lbs) and they are both about 3 months old!

This is my favorite picture of Austin! Daddy was getting him to smile! Austin smiles all the time! Pretty much whenever we try and get him to smile! It is so fun!

These are Austin's friends. Macguire is 6 months old, Austin is 1 month old, and Jackson is 3 months old. Macquire weighs 17 lbs, Austin weighs 13 pounds, and Jackson weighs 10 lbs. This really shows you how big of a boy Austin is!

This was Jeremy's outfit when he was a baby!!! Do you think it will work for our 80's party we are going to next weekend?? : ) Last night Jere and I went to dinner and a movie (our first date, since Austin). We went to Red Lobster (best biscuits in the world) and saw Surrogates. It was kind of a weird movie, but I still enjoyed it. Austin hung out with the Browns!! We missed him though, and couldn't wait to get back to see him. Well, it was really late so we slept over and I had brought 4 outfits for him, thinking that would be enough. He spit up so many times that his clothes were all soaking, so we had to borrow one of Jere's baby outfits for Austin to wear home! It's cute huh?

Can you believe it!?! He already weighs 9 lbs 11 oz. He is 21 1/2 inches long! He's a growing boy who loves to eat! The doctor thinks I make cream instead of milk! I think he's right! Happy 2 week birthday Austin!! : )

Back to the hospital!

On Friday afternoon, my mom was driving me to pick up Jeremy from work to spend the weekend at Jeremy's family's house, when i got a call from my doctor. She was worried about me because my blood work was looking worse, along with my liver function, and my blood pressure had been high. I went to a hospital by Jere's work and got my blood pressure tested. 179/95 WAY TOO HIGH!! So we drove back to Tooele and went to the emergency room. I don't know what i would have done without mom because she took Austin home and fed him while Jeremy stayed with me at the hospital. My doctor told me I had pre-eclampsia and was at risk for seizures, so they put me on a magnesium drip for 24 hours, and then kept me another day to see how my blood pressure was doing. My whole body was so swollen (especially my legs, feet, and face) and in only one day I peed 6 liters!!!! SIX LITERS!!! Now I'm not very swollen anymore. It was a very scary experience for me!! At first they told me I wasn't going to be able to bring the baby in, but then i was transfered to Labor and Delivery where they took care of me and Austin was able to come visit. His grandmas took care of him, and I am so grateful for both of them!!! i am doing better now, my blood work is back to normal, but my blood pressure is a little high still. About 135/89, but it's constantly going up and down.

Austin falls asleep everytime we feed him, so he hasn't been getting enough food. We've been supplementing him and it's fun because Jeremy gets to feed him! It is so adorable to watch! i love Austin's little tongue!

Can you believe how beautiful Amy is!?! She really is amazing, I have a whole new level of respect for her. She is my Hero!!!!! This is my first time blogging so I hope it turns out ok. Little Austin Dean Brown came into the world on Friday Sept 25th at 9:30am. His mommy tried so long and hard to get him out of her! it ended up being 20 1/2 hours of labor. The tongs wouldnt work, and he actually broke the vacum!haha. They definently had me stressing out, but after 5 minutes into the C-section we heard him cry for the first time! it was unreal!! He is perfect! So far he is perfectly healthy!! 8lbs, 8oz! he out weighs all the other babies in the hospital by 2 or 3 pounds! Amy is recovering good from surgury, she loves medication!! Both He and Amy are my little Angels and I love them with all my heart!
